Past Events - 2002

2nd Annual Golf Classic
Wednesday, October 23, 2002 at
Rutgers University Golf Course

The Kiwanis Club of The Hanovers held the 2nd Annual Golf Classic, Co-sponsored by Rutgers University on Wednesday, October 23, 2002.

This was one of the most successful fundraising events the club held all year. We had a wonderful turnout with over 50 golfer's attending.

Prizes were awarded to Joe Deming for winning the golf outing, and to Skip Webb for the winning the Closest to the Pin contest.

Special thanks to the Sunrise House for their help and support.

Firehouse Pizza 5K Run
Sunday, June 9, 2002 - 9am

The Firehouse Pizzeria in Florham Park and the Kiwanis Club of The Hanovers sponsored the Fifth Annual Firehouse Pizza 5K Run on Sunday, June 9, 2002 at Madison High School.

The event was a success! All proceeds from the run benefited the Cheshire Home in Florham Park, NJ.

In addition to the funds raised, the Kiwanis Club of The Hanovers also donated $1,000 to the Cheshire Home.

Memorial Day Parade
May 27, 2002 - 10am

Several members from our club marched in the East Hanover Memorial Day Parade, honoring those men and woman who have served our country.
