Past Events - 2003

The Sixth Annual 5K
Firehouse Pizza Run
To Benefit the Cheshire Home
Sunday, September 7, 2003 - 9 am

The Kiwanis Club of The Hanovers and the Firehouse Pizza sponsored the Sixth Annual 5k Run to benefit the Cheshire Home of Florham Park, NJ on September 7, 2003.

Over 120 runners participated in this exciting event which started at Madison High School, went through the towns of Florham Park and Madison and finished at the Cheshire Home.

Trophies were awarded to the 1st, 2nd and 3rd place male and female runners in a variety of age groups.

Many sponsors and runners made generous donations to the Cheshire Home including a check from the Kiwanis Club of The Hanovers and Billy and Madeline's Red Room for $1,000.

Thanks to all of the volunteer's who made this event such a success!

3rd Annual Golf Classic
Monday, May 5th, 2003
The Knoll West Country Club in Parsippany

Over 150 golfers attended our 3rd Annual Golf Classic held on Monday May 5th, 2003 at the Knoll West Country Club in Parsippany, NJ.

Prizes were awarded to golfers for winning the closest to the pin on 4 par-3 holes, for the straightest and longest drive, and to the top six players.

The success of this year's event was due to the efforts of our club members and to our Co-sponsor, the Montville Kiwanis Club who organized the golf outing. Thanks for all the help
