Past Events - 2007
7th Annual Golf Outing
Tuesday, September 18th, 2007
Brooklake Country Club, Florham Park, NJ
This year we held our 7th annual golf fundraiser at the Brooklake Country Club on September 18th, 2007.
More then 30 golfers participated in the outing which raised over twenty seven hundred dollars and benefited several New Jersey charities.
Prizes were awarded to the top ten golfers with the best scores.
Once again, our success for the event was due to the efforts of our club members, hole sponsors, and golfers. Thanks everyone for all the help!
50/50 Raffle
Donation: $2.00
Proceeds to Benefit Local Charities
Drawing on Thursday, November 8th, 2007 at 7:00 pm
Our 50/50 Raffle was held on November 8, 2007 at 7:00pm at Billy and Madeline's Tavern.
This fundraising event raised fourteen hundred dollars, half of which went to help local charities in the Hanover area of New Jersey. The lucky winner received a check for $700.00. Congratulations!
I would like to thank all of our dedicated members who helped make this fundraising event a success!
Hanover Township Appreciation Day
Malapardis Park, Hanover NJ
Saturday, September 8th, 2007 - 1:00 pm
The Kiwanis Club of the Hanovers participated in the Hanover Township Appreciation Day on Saturday, September 8th, 2007.
Our club setup a table in the park and donated 1000 portions of nachos and cheese for the visitors of the event.
As always, this event could not have been possible without the help of our dedicated club members.
4th Annual Bowl-A-Thon
To Benefit the Jersey Battered Women's Services
Hanover Bowling Lanes
Wednesday, May 30th, 2007 - 6:00 pm
This year we challenged the Kiwanis Club of Parsippany and the NJ Aktion Club in a bowling tournament to raise money for the Jersey Battered Women's Services of Morris County.
Over 25 bowlers participated in the multi-game tournament which raised more then $500 for the NJ charity.
The Kiwanis Club of the Hanovers managed to beat the other clubs and take home the trophy.
A special thanks to Hanover Lanes for donating the bowling shoes and the lanes for the event.
As always, thanks to the bowlers for making this an enjoyable and successful fundraiser.
